RN

• RN with experience in OB and L&D. Position is located in Newport News. Position is Assignment to Hire, could be Direct Hire for right candidate. LPN

• LPN needed for a team-oriented Family Practice located in Newport News.  Position is Full time, assignment to hire. Must be able to work Monday thru Friday 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM. Must have a current active Virginia LPN License. Must have 2 years clinical nursing experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, sound nursing judgment, documentation and charting skills are a must.

Physician Endocrinology

• Graduate of an accredited Medical College, completion of an accredited residency training program, and post-graduate training in Endocrinology & Metabolism. Board certification/eligibility required.  Minimum of two (2) years experience in Inpatient & Outpatient setting.  Licensure Current Medical License for practice in the commonwealth of Virginia. Current Controlled Substance Registration Certificate issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration, United States Justice Department.

Ultrasound Technologist

Billing Specialist

• Medicus Staffing is seeking a long term extremely detail oriented billing specialist for an assignment to hire Position located in Norfolk.  Candidate must be a self starter, team player, professional, and have the ability to totally focus and follow completely through.  The ideal candidate will have had a minimum of two years experience working in a medical office gathering patient information, verifying insurance, posting charges, posting payments, posting EOB’s, getting claims paid, and handling patient care. Knowledge of these duties is essential.  If you are the definition of all of the synonyms of “thorough” and take pride in that, then you are the one for this position.  Pay is completely dependent on experience which will be assessed by us during the interview process. Medical Assistant

• Immediate need for Busy OB/GYN clinic specializing in high risk pregnancy. Must have OB/GYN experience.

Applicants should possess high attention to detail and effective communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills. Must have a minimum of 1-year working experience in a medical office. OB/GYN Exp. A+.

Registered Nurse 

• Skill Care RN,   must have exceptional communication skills, P/T, 3-11 shift between 24 t 36 hours per week. Must be licensed as a RN to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. 2 years previous experience in a hospital, nursing home or medically related environment preferred. Previous nursing home experience preferred.

Dentist

• Outstanding Opportunity for General Dentist. All levels of experience will be considered. Must hold Virginia License, Associate and Part Time Positions available.

Dental Billing Professional

• The day to day responsibilities include monitoring accounts receivable, including claims and overdue invoices, utilizing the Dentrix software. The individual would also prepare aging reports, process bills when needed, and coordinate with payers to ensure accurate billing practices. This is a long term contract to hire opportunity that offers great hands-on exposure.

• To be qualified for this opportunity, candidates should have 2+ years of experience working in dental and/or medical billing. Experience with the Dentrix software is preferred.

Dental Assistant

• Seats patient, sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, prepares materials and assists dental provider during dental procedures. Assists dental provider in management of dental emergencies. Records treatment in patient records. Take impressions Take digital x-rays Clean and set up rooms for next patient Adheres to all OSHA, HIPAA and federal rules and regulations Discusses with patient the instructions for after-care. Observes professional dress code Be cost effective and responsible for the care of assigned equipment/supplies Performs all other duties as assigned. Must be Virginia Certified. Must have minimum of 1 year working experience.

Phlebotomist

• Explains and performs routine blood collection and special collection procedures. Receives labels and processes specimens for lab analysis. Distributes specimens to proper location. Ensures that all visitors, orders and inquiries to the lab are handled in a helpful professional manner so that information is processed accurately. Must maintain a positive image of the Laboratory by display of appropriate appearance and excellent interpersonal skills.
  High school diploma or equivalence required. Knowledge of laboratory medical terminology preferred. One-year phlebotomy experience Required.
