What kind of candidates does Medicus Staffing place?

Medicus Staffing candidates include all healthcare, administrative, dental, and clinical staff. Some examples of administrative medical and dental placements include: front desk receptionist, healthcare records clerk, billing/coding staff, bookkeeping, accounting and IT professionals. Some examples of clinical healthcare placements include: phlebotomists, dental hygienists, healthcare assistants, LPNs, RNs, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and physicians.


How are candidates selected?

We continually search the market for skilled medical and dental professionals. Our extensive network allows us to find qualified candidates for most roles. Our candidates undergo an evaluation process that includes a detailed application, a thorough face-to-face interview and evaluation, reference checks, degree and license verification, and background check.


What is the registration process?

First, our medical and dental recruiters will review your résumé. If we determine that your experience level is such that we believe we can place you, you will be contacted and an in-depth interview will be conducted. The recruiter will discuss with you your employment history, education, salary expectations, geographic preferences, and intangibles.


Do I have to pay a fee to work with Medicus Staffing?

No. Medicus Staffing is paid by our clients to locate the best candidates available for their open positions. No fee is charged to our candidates.


What kind of experience do Medicus’ recruiters possess?

Who will be conducting my interview?

An experienced medical and/or dental recruiter will conduct your interview and assist you throughout the employment process. All Medicus Staffing recruiters have an extensive background in the medical and/or dental fields. How long will it take to find me a job?

Placement depends on several factors, including experience, availability, and the needs of our clients. We cannot guarantee placement within a specific timeframe; however, we will inform you of positions meeting your qualifications as they become available.


What is a temporary assignment?

A temporary assignment can range from one day to several months. You will be an employee of Medicus Staffing assigned to work at a client site for the duration of the assignment.


What is a temp-to-hire assignment?

A temp-to-hire assignment occurs when a client wishes to hire a Medicus employee after they have completed a trial period. This provides both the candidate and client an opportunity to evaluate each other prior to committing to an employment relationship.


What is a direct hire?

A direct hire is the result of a company requesting Medicus to provide search and placement services for a specific position. The recruited candidate will work directly for our client.

How often do I get paid?

Medicus Staffing issues paychecks weekly on Fridays. You will have your funds directly deposited into your bank account at no additional charge.

Medicus Staffing works with a variety of medical and dental clients ranging from small offices to large clinics to hospitals and laboratories. We staff all specialty practices.


How will I know where my résumé is sent?

Medicus Staffing does not submit your résumé to any of its clients without first discussing the position with you to determine your level of interest.
